This Lemon Butter Baked Shrimp recipe features fresh jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection in my easy lemon garlic butter sauce. Even though it's cooked in the oven, it's ready in 15 minutes.
1.5lbShrimpI used jumbo (16-20 or 13-15 per lb), tail-on, deveined and peeled
1tspCajun seasoningclick for recipe, or use another seafood seasoning
1/2lemon garlic butter sauceclick for the recipe. I used 1/2 the recipe for this dish and the other half for baked salmon. You can also use the entire recipe if you plan to use the extra sauce to top vegetables, cauliflower rice or another side dish.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Add the shrimp to a bowl with the seasoning. Toss to distribute evenly.
Add the shrimp to a broiler safe dish.
Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the shrimp.
Bake uncovered for 5 minutes.
Turn the broiler on low, then broil for 2-3 minutes to give the shrimp color and allow it to turn opaque.
