Add the almond milk, sweetener, and sugar-free milk chocolate chips to a microwave-safe mug
Warm the mixture in the microwave for 90 seconds
Add the MCT Oil if using
Use a hand blender to incorporate
Top with keto whipped cream, whipped coconut cream, and/or more sugar-free chocolate chips if you wish.
Notes
If you’re using Unsweetened Cocoa Powder then you should just add it to the warm milk. You should also use 1-2 tbsps of sweetener.
MCT Oil is optional: if you want to make your sugar free hot chocolate more keto-friendly and bulletproof, then you can add MCT oil as an easy way to increase the fat.
Make it pretty with toppings: You can add a dollop of sugar free whipped cream and sugar free chocolate syrup to make this drink more like a Starbucks copycat!
Keep it dairy-free by using vegan unsweetened chocolate chips, unsweetened cocoa powder, and coconut whipped cream as a topping.
