Cook time will vary: your sausages will be cooked long before they are browned. And, if you're like me, then you probably like them to look a little charred on the outside. One benefit of the Foodi is that you can always add more time and pop open the lid to check on your food. I opted to cook them for 6 minutes per side.
Thaw your frozen sausage patties before cooking: sausage patties usually include ground meat like ground beef, ground turkey or ground pork. So, it is essential to ensure that the meat cooks evenly and reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
Line your air fryer for easy clean-up: add parchment paper or aluminum foil to your basket-style air fryer. It will collect the extra grease that collects while cooking.
