3tbspLemon Juicefresh or bottled work well in this recipe
Instructions
Add the salt, herb seasoning, garlic, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice to a large bowl. Whisk to incorporate.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
Add them to the bowl, and mix them evenly with the marinade.
Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours (ideally overnight)
Take the chicken about 15-30 minutes before cooking.
Stir the chicken in the marinade one last time. Shake off excess marinade
Add the chicken to the air fryer cooking basket.
Air Crisp the wings at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes per side.
Notes
Marinate the chicken wings for at least 4 hours: to get the most flavor, you should allow your wings to marinate as long as possible. I’ve allowed my chicken to sit in the marinade for 1-2 days with great success.
Works for store-bought marinated wings too: if you buy your chicken with a marinade, you can still use this recipe. Simply, jump to step #5 in the recipe.
