or 1 tbsp if you're using a drink mix because they're already sweetened

Instructions
Add the butter to a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug and microwave for 15 to 30 seconds, or until melted.
Add the almond flour, cocoa powder or chocolate collagen powder, sugar substitute, and baking powder. Add the egg and vanilla.
Whisk until smooth, scraping the bottom and sides of the mug so no dry ingredients remain.
Microwave for about 1 minute, or until the top is set and the center is soft and cake-like.
Add toppings, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Use a
12-ounce microwave-safe mug
.
Substitute
1 tablespoon coconut flour
for the 3 tablespoons almond flour.
Chocolate collagen powder can be used in place of the cocoa powder.
Avoid overcooking since mug cakes can dry out quickly.
Microwave power varies, so use 1 minute as a starting point.
Optional add-ins include sugar-free chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
