Instructions
Dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel
Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
Lightly sprinkle both sides of the salmon with it.
Heat a skillet on medium high heat with olive oil
Cook salmon until the center flakes with a fork (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove the salmon from heat
Top with the teriyaki sauce and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
Pat the salmon dry:
This helps it sear better in the skillet.
Use fillets close in size:
They will cook more evenly.
Go light on the salt:
The right amount depends on how salty your teriyaki sauce is.
Add the sauce at the end:
