Make tender Air Fryer Frozen Broccoli straight from the freezer in about 10 minutes. This easy no-thaw side uses simple seasoning, oil, and optional lemon.
Add the frozen broccoli florets, oil, and seasoning to a large bowl. Use tongs or a spoon to evenly coat the frozen broccoli with the seasoning and oil.
Add the seasoned broccoli to the air fryer cooking basket.
Air Crisp them at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Toss.
Air Crisp the broccoli for 3-4 more minutes to cook it through.
Notes
Do not thaw: Add the broccoli straight from the freezer. Thawing can make it too soft.
Toss halfway through: This helps the broccoli cook more evenly, especially if your basket is full.
Expect tender, not crispy: Frozen broccoli has more moisture than fresh broccoli, so it will be softer than roasted fresh florets.
Switch up the flavor: Try lemon pepper, Creole seasoning, steak seasoning, garlic herb seasoning, or a squeeze of fresh lemon after cooking.
