Instructions
Add the frozen meatballs to the air fryer cooking basket.
Air Fry on 400 degrees for 6 minutes.
Flip the meatballs.
Air Fry on 400 degrees for 5-6 more minutes to cook the meatballs through.
Add the meatballs to a bowl and coat them with sauce.
Optional: Top with parmesan cheese, basil and/or parsley.
Notes
Use precooked frozen meatballs: This recipe is written for frozen meatballs that are already cooked. Raw frozen meatballs need more time.
Do not thaw first: Add the meatballs straight from the freezer to the air fryer basket.
Keep them in a single layer: This helps the meatballs heat evenly. Cook in batches if needed.
Shake or flip halfway through: This helps all sides warm and brown more evenly.
Sauce after air frying: Warm the sauce separately, then toss with the hot meatballs so the sauce stays smooth.
Adjust for size: Mini meatballs may be done around 7 to 8 minutes. Larger meatballs may need 2 to 4 extra minutes.
Check doneness: Precooked meatballs should be heated through. Raw meatballs should reach 165°F in the center.
