Crispy air fryer green beans are an easy side dish made with fresh green beans, simple seasonings, and minimal prep. They cook in about 12 minutes and turn out tender with browned, crisp edges.
Add the green beans, seasonings, and butter to a bowl. Mix with tongs.
Add to the air fryer cooking basket. Cook for 6 minutes at 400 degrees per side.

Notes
Seasoning: I use about 1 tablespoon of a salt-free garlic and herb blend per 12 oz. of green beans. If your seasoning contains salt, start with about 1 teaspoon per pound and add more to taste.
Cooking time: Thinner green beans may cook faster. Start checking at 6 minutes, then cook in 2-minute increments until tender with browned, crisp edges.
For the best texture: Give the green beans room in the air fryer basket and toss them halfway through cooking.
Frozen green beans: If you’re starting with frozen beans, use my Air Fryer Frozen Green Beans recipe instead. Frozen green beans cook differently and won’t get as crisp as fresh ones.
