These game day recipes make it easy to build a spread with crispy chicken wings, sliders, dips, nachos, appetizers, BBQ, and sides. Make a few snacks for watching the game at home or mix and match enough recipes to feed a crowd.

Start with wings, then add something filling like sliders or nachos, a dip, and a side based on how much food you need.
How to Build a Game Day Spread
For an easy spread, start with one or two wing flavors, add something filling like sliders or nachos, then choose a dip and a side. You don’t need something from every section below.
Chicken Wings
Wings are one of my favorite game day foods because you can serve several flavors on the same table. These are some of my most popular options for the oven and air fryer.

Sliders & Handhelds
Sliders and sandwiches make the spread more filling without turning it into a sit-down dinner.

Buffalo Chicken Sliders
These use shredded cooked chicken tossed with Buffalo sauce and cheese on my homemade Hawaiian dinner rolls, then finish with a garlic butter topping. Serve ranch, blue cheese, and other toppings on the side so everyone can customize their own. You can also use my Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken when you want to make the filling from scratch.
Game Day Dips
Add one warm dip, one cold dip, or both for something everyone can snack on between the bigger dishes.

Nachos, Tacos & Quesadillas
These work well when appetizers aren’t quite enough but you don’t want a traditional main dish.

Bites & Appetizers
Pick one or two bite-sized options to add variety around your wings, sliders, and dips.

Crockpot Game Day Recipes
Crockpot game day recipes are especially useful when the oven and air fryer are already full. Let the slow cooker handle one of the bigger dishes while you finish the rest of the spread.

Ribs & BBQ
Add one of these when you want the snack table to feel more like a full meal.

Sides for Game Day
Add one or two sides when you’re serving sliders, ribs, BBQ chicken, or another more substantial main.
