This Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Latte recipe, which is a Starbucks copycat recipe, will take your cold brew latte to the next level. Featuring real pumpkin puree, this drink is the perfect keto pumpkin spice latte alternative for iced coffee lovers. Enjoy this drink as is or with some of my other pumpkin recipes. This easy recipe is ready in less than 5 minutes.
Why Make Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
There are so many reasons to add this easy recipe to your list of favorite pumpkin drinks and beverages! Here are my top three:
- Cold Brew Latte for Fall: Pumpkin Spice Lattes are perfect for fall and the pumpkin season, but they’re often served hot. If you’re like me and are a fan of iced coffee and cold drinks, this copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is a great option.
- Real pumpkin & simple ingredients: skip the pumpkin flavoring and use real pumpkin to make this copycat drink at home.
- Easy recipe: this popular fall drink doesn’t require much. It comes together in less than 5 minutes!
Ingredients Needed
- Unsweetened Almond Milk: I’m using non-dairy milk since this is what I prefer, but you can use regular milk (whole milk, skim milk) or any milk alternative (oat milk, coconut milk) that you wish.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Vanilla Extract
- Sweetener: to keep carbs low, I use an all-natural sugar substitute. But, any sweetener that you enjoy will work with this drink
- Pumpkin Puree: I purchase this canned. It is unsweetened. This drink was not tested with pumpkin pie filling.
- Cold Brew: you can use your favorite cold brew. I buy mine since that’s convenient and includes coffee as well as espresso, but if you want, you can also make a homemade cold brew.
- Ice
- Whipped Cream: this is optional. You can pick this up from the store or use my sugar-free whipped cream recipe.
How to Make Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew
- Make the pumpkin cream: Add the almond milk, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, sweetener, and pumpkin purée to a cup, blender, or handheld milk frother.
- Use a hand blender, regular blender, immersion blender, or handheld frother to incorporate. This usually takes about 30 seconds
- Add the cold brew coffee and ice to a tall glass cup
- Pour the pumpkin cream into the cold brew. Stir and enjoy!
Top Tips & FAQs
- Add sweetener to taste: you can add as much sweetener as you wish. Feel free to adjust my recommended amount for your tastes.
- Skip the ice if you’re not drinking it right away: ice dilutes your drink as it melts. So, if you don’t plan to drink this right away reduce or skip the ice.
- Make cold brew ice cubes: another way to keep the drink cold, but full of coffee flavor is to use cold brew ice cubes instead of regular ice. To make these, simply pour your cold brew into ice trays and freeze.
- Optional: If you want your cold coffee drink to be creamier, try adding a little heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, sweet cream, or coconut cream to your preference. Also, if you want more of that cold brew taste, try using some cold brew concentrate.
Storage & Leftovers
If you have any leftovers from this delicious pumpkin cream cold brew recipe, the best way to store it is in a mason jar or an airtight container for the next time (but shake it before consuming).
This depends on preferences. But, some core ingredients are pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice seasoning, cold brew, sweetener, and cold milk.
This largely depends on the sweetener used and whether you add things like pumpkin pie filling instead of unsweetened pumpkin puree. This drink has about 60 calories and 3g net carbs.
This recipe uses about 1/2 cup. However, you can add more coffee flavor by adding more if you wish.
Yes. I enjoy this drink sweet, but you can sweeten it to taste.
